Requirements: The applicant should:
Demonstrate success in team teaching with emphasis/ strength in the areas of reading, language arts
Demonstrate success in specially designing instructional content for multiple subject areas aligned to individual IEP’s
Demonstrate success in working with special education students
Be flexible and adaptive.
Demonstrate use of technology to enhance student performance
Demonstrate ability to design and create learning experiences that are developmentally appropriate; familiar with research-based interventions for reading, math and behavior
Demonstrate ability to successfully complete IEP paperwork and manage successfully manage timelines for annual IEP meetings and evaluations
Demonstrate ability to manage challenging behaviors
Demonstrate ability to collaborate and work effectively as a member of a team, relate to students, parents and staff.
Be willing to stay current and use technology in your classroom.
