Full Time Occupational Therapist

Description
Major responsibilities include:
Design and implement occupational therapy interventions aligned with the student's Individualized Education Plan (IEP) and the least restrictive environment principles.
Develop individual and small group therapy sessions that parallel the general education curriculum while addressing the student's functional needs and occupational performance.
Employ various service delivery models (co-teaching, inclusion, resource room, supplemental, and supplanted instruction) based on the student's needs and educational goals.
Collaborate with parents, administrators, specialists, psychologists, and external agencies to develop and monitor IEPs that promote the student's educational, physical, behavioral, and social development.
Participate in the district's Child Find processes, including child development screening days, and complete special education referrals and evaluations as needed.
Integrate educational technology and assistive technology solutions to support the student's participation and engagement during the IEP process and occupational therapy interventions.
Create lesson plans and instructional materials tailored to individual and small group occupational therapy sessions across various educational settings..

Wisconsin DPI License #51 School Occupational Therapy is required.
Must meet state certification and licensure requirements
Must be able to carry out assigned responsibilities
Must demonstrate effective use of the English language, both verbal and written
